You are only 7 km from the sea and a choice of beautiful beaches. As well as the sparkling water of the Adriatic, famed for its health- giving properties, sample the many water sports on offer or take a boat trip to sight-see, to fish or to watch the dolphins. For children there is a choice of 2 top class water parks.
Explore the many historic towns close by: Porec famed for its UNESCO listed 6th century Basilica, its Roman remains and its many jewellers! The Venetian town of Rovinj is renowned for its beauty and its many artist studios and, a little farther afield, there is the famous Roman amphitheatre in Pula offering spectacular events to the delight of holiday makers. Inland, visit the medieval hill towns of Motovun or Groznan or the centre of truffles, Buzet.
