The area is famed for its beautiful countryside with local walking and cycle tracks which wend their way past olive groves and vineyards. The villa itself is situated in an oasis of calm surrounded by olive groves.

A short drive brings you to a choice of beaches on the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Take a boat trip to the enchanted islands off the coast or enjoy dolphin watching or a choice of water sports. The children will enjoy a visit to exciting water parks or a visit to the dinosaurs at Dinopark. Explore the UNESCO protected 6^th century basilica in Porec and follow its winding streets to the Roman temple. Enjoy the Venetian town of Rovinj with stunning views over the Adriatic. Take a trip to visit the hilltowns of Motovun or Groznan or go to truffle country in Buzet. A slightly longer journey brings you to the capital of Istria, Pula, with its famous Roman amphitheatre.
